- We decided to start Sleep Training (Friday 2.15) It was a long weekend with President's Day on Monday so we were prepared to Cry it Out (CIO) and not get any sleep. After putting a thread out on Facebook asking other moms for tips and tricks I decided to try a routine. (which we kind of had, but modified it a bit) After getting home from work, and feeding you 2 cubes of Sweet Potato we gave you a bath, put some bedtime lotion on, put on a "Baby Dry" diaper, put jammies on, and nursed you. I put you down just before 8pm and waited for my "baby alarm" that normally sounds between 11:30 and 1:30. Nothing! I woke up to go to work the next morning shocked that you didn't wake up! I thought I dreamt the whole thing! Repeat next night...same thing! Success! No tears, happy parents..happy baby. You made it 6 nights without waking up. But have routinely been sleeping through the night from here on out
